Lesson:
Students will begin by copying the EQ's and the vocabulary found in the PowerPoint into their journals, followed by a lecture and discussion about types of political borders, specifically natural borders and man-made borders. Next, students will read IR 6, answer the EQ questions, and then apply the information learned about borders by creating a map of Dickinson. Next, students will analyze the map images in the IR handouts while answering questions and labeling their specific borders.
